A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file at the office of City Hall in the City of Palmyra, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Building Code, 2012 Edition, as adopted by Chapter 500 of these ordinances, including Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the City of Palmyra, Missouri, for regulating and governing the conditions and maintenance of all property, buildings and structures; by providing the standards for supplied utilities and facilities and other physical things and conditions essential to ensure that structures are safe, sanitary and fit for occupation and use; and the condemnation of buildings and structures unfit for human occupancy and use and the demolition of such structures as provided herein; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code on file in the office of City Hall are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this Section.

The following Sections of the 2012 Edition of the International Building Code are hereby revised:

A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file at the office of City Hall in the City of Palmyra, Missouri, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code, 2012 Edition, including Appendix Chapters, as published by the International Code Council be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Palmyra, Missouri, for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property and the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of City Hall are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this Section.
B. 
The following Sections of said Fire Code are hereby revised:
1. 
Section 101.1. Insert: "City of Palmyra, Missouri."
2. 
Section 109.4. Insert: "misdemeanor," "five-hundred dollars ($500.00) amount," "zero number of days."
3.

The geographic limits referred to in certain sections of the 2012 International Fire Code are hereby established as follows:
1. 
Section 5704.2.9.6.1 (geographic limits in which the storage of Class I and Class II liquids in aboveground tanks outside of buildings is prohibited): Zoning Districts of R-1 Single and Two-Family District, R-2 Mobile Home District, R-3 Multi-Family District, and S-1 Special District.
2. 
Section 5706.2.4.4 (geographic limits in which the storage of Class I and Class II liquids in aboveground tanks is prohibited): Zoning Districts of R-1 Single and Two-Family District, R-2 Mobile Home District, R-3 Multi-Family District, and S-1 Special District.
3. 
Section 5806.2 (geographic limits in which the storage of flammable cryogenic fluids in stationary containers is prohibited): Zoning Districts of R-1 Single and Two-Family District, R-2 Mobile Home District, R-3 Multi-Family District, and S-1 Special District.
4. 
Section 6104.2 (geographic limits in which the storage of liquified petroleum gas is restricted for the protection of heavily populated or congested areas): Zoning Districts of R-1 Single and Two-Family District, R-2 Mobile Home District, R-3 Multi-Family District, and S-1 Special District.
E. 
If any Section, Subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Section is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Section. A certain document, a copy of which is on file at the office of City Hall in the City of Palmyra, Missouri, being marked and designated as the NEC Electrical Code, 2011 Edition, is hereby adopted as the Electrical Code of the City of Palmyra, Missouri, for regulating and safeguarding persons and property from hazards arising from the use of electricity; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said National Electrical Code on file in the office of City Hall are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this Section, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this Section.
B. 
The National Electrical Code covers the installation of electrical conductors, equipment, and raceways; signaling and communications conductors, equipment, and raceways; and optical fiber cables and raceways for the following:
1. 
Public and private premises, including buildings, structures, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, and floating buildings.
2. 
Yards, lots, parking lots, carnivals, and industrial substations.
3. 
Installations of conductors and equipment that connect to the supply of electricity.
4. 
Installations used by the electric utility, such as office buildings, warehouses, garages, machine shops, and recreational buildings, that are not an integral part of a generating plant, substation, or control center.
C. 
If any Section, Subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Section is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Section. The City Council of the City of Palmyra, Missouri, hereby declares that it would have passed this Section, and each Section, Subsection, clause or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one (1) or more Sections, Subsections, sentences, clauses and phrases be declared unconstitutional.

Section 210.12(B) Branch Circuit Extensions or Modifications - Dwelling Units. Delete in its entirety.

B. 
The following Sections of the 2012 edition of the International Plumbing Code are hereby revised:
