A. 
No licensee shall sell, serve, deliver or allow, permit or suffer the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage or permit the consumption of any alcoholic beverage on licensed premises on Sundays from 2:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and from 12:00 midnight until 7:00 a.m. on Monday, and on all other days from 2:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m., except January 1 of each year.

B. 
On January 1 of each year, no licensee shall sell, serve, deliver or allow, permit or suffer the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage or permit the consumption of any alcoholic beverage on licensed premises between the hour of 3:00 a.m. and the hour above designated for weekdays and Sundays, respectively, when sales may be resumed.[1]

The hours aforesaid shall be deemed to be Eastern standard time, except from 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March until 2:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in November, each year, when they shall be Eastern daylight saving time.

Any retail license in the Township of Morris may be suspended or revoked for violation of the provisions of this article in accordance with the procedure established by N.J.S.A. 33:1-31.
Any person violating this article shall be punishable as provided in § 1-3, General penalty, of this Code.
