It shall be the duty of all the officers of the City to report
annually to the Board of Aldermen, such reports to embrace a full
statement of the receipts and expenditures of their respective offices,
and such other matters as may be required by the Board of Aldermen
by ordinance, resolution or otherwise.

The Mayor or Board of Aldermen shall have power, as often as
he/she or they may deem it necessary, to require any officer of the
City to exhibit his/her accounts or other papers or records, and to
make report to the Board of Aldermen, in writing, touching any matter
relating to his/her office.

Each elected official of the City and all City employees shall,
upon approval by the Board of Aldermen, be reimbursed for expenses
of money actually expended by him/her while pursuing City business
and shall receive payment for reimbursement of expenses in the use
of his/her personal automobile for City business. This rate shall
be based on the current rate for budgeted expense set forth by the
City auditing firm and shall be in effect for that current year. Before
payment of any such expenses or mileage, an itemization shall be submitted
to the members of the Board of Aldermen of all expenses and mileage,
with such receipts and verification as may be required by the Board.

A. An applicant
seeking employment, volunteer seeking work, employee seeking different
position within the City of Ash Grove or any individual whose job
duties would involve contact with minors shall submit if requested
by the Board of Aldermen a set of his/her fingerprints taken by the
Police Department of the City of Ash Grove, along with appropriate
fees.
B. Upon
receipt of the fingerprints and the appropriate fees, the Ash Grove
Police Department will transmit both sets of fingerprints to the Missouri
Highway Patrol. The Missouri Highway Patrol will compare the subject's
fingerprints against its criminal file and, if no disqualifying conduct
is found therein or if necessary submit the fingerprints to the Federal
Bureau of Investigation for a comparison with nationwide records.
The results of the Federal Bureau of Investigation check will be returned
to the Missouri Highway Patrol which will disseminate the State and
national results to the City of Ash Grove.
C. A record
subject may request and receive a copy of his/her criminal history
record information from the City of Ash Grove. Should the record subject
seek to amend or correct his/her record, he/she must contact the Missouri
Highway Patrol for a Missouri State record or the Federal Bureau of
Investigation for records from other jurisdictions maintained in its
file.

A. The City
of Ash Grove hereby elects the following:
1. To adopt
a change in the contributions from covered employees, changing to
the requirement of four percent (4%) of gross salary and wages as
contributions from covered employees in accordance with the provisions
of Sections 70.705 and 70.730, RSMo. (2004).
2. To adopt
no change in the method of determining a member employee's final average
salary, keeping a thirty-six (36) consecutive-month period for determining
a member employee's final average salary in accordance with Sections
70.600 and 70.656, RSMo. (2004).
3. To adopt
no change in the Benefit Program of member employees, keeping Benefit
Program L-7 in accordance with Section 70.655, RSMo. (2004).
4. To adopt
no change in the Benefit Program of member employees, keeping member
employees option of retirement upon attaining minimum service retirement
in accordance with Sections 70.600, 70.645 and 70.646, RSMo. (2004).
