The Village Clerk shall, in addition to the duties now imposed upon him or her by law, perform the following duties:[1]
A. 
He or she shall issue notices to the members of the Board of Trustees when directed so to do by that body, also to the members of the different committees and to all persons whose attendance is required before any committee when directed or requested so to do by the Chair of such committee. He or she shall also issue notices of special meetings of the Board of Trustees.
B. 
He or she shall attest all licenses granted under the ordinances of the Village, and he or she shall keep a record of the issuance thereof.
C. 
He or she shall, without delay, deliver to the officers of the Village and to all committees of the Board of Trustees all resolutions and communications referred to such officers or committees by that body.
D. 
He or she shall, without delay, deliver to the President all ordinances or resolutions in his or her charge which may be required to be approved or otherwise acted upon by the President, together with all papers on which the same are founded.
E. 
He or she shall, upon the filing of a call for any special meeting, prepare notices for such meeting and cause them to be served on the members of the Board of Trustees not later than the calendar day next preceding the day set for such meeting. Notices of special meetings shall specify in brief the objects for which they have been called.

The originals of all ordinances passed by the Board of Trustees shall be filed in the office of the Clerk.

A. 
In all cases where any ordinance of the Village requires a license to be obtained for any purpose, such license shall be exhibited on the premises. It shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to deliver such license free of charge to the persons paying the license fee, and such fee shall be considered as covering the cost of the issuance of the license.
B. 
In case any licensee who has been furnished a license in accordance with the ordinance of the Village shall lose the same, such person, upon making affidavit to such effect and upon the payment of a fee as set forth in the Bannockburn Fee Schedule to the Village Clerk, shall be furnished another license by the Village Clerk upon presentation of the affidavit.[1]

All money collected by the Village Clerk hereunder shall be promptly remitted by him or her to the Village Treasurer.
