The Township of West Manheim recognizes the importance and significance
of real estate tax certifications for the smooth and efficient flow
of commerce with the local real estate market.
This article is necessary to prevent the Tax Collector from
violating Section 1103(a) of the Public Official and Employee Ethics
Act, 65 Pa.C.S.A. § 1103(a), by collecting such fee in the
absence of a municipal ordinance authorizing the same.
The West Manheim Township Tax Collector is hereby authorized
to charge a fee for expenses not to exceed $10 per certification.
