A.
The Village amends Ordinance No. 155 to adopt Section 106.50 of the
Wisconsin Statutes, as amended, relating to the equal rights of all
persons to fair housing and providing means for implementation and
enforcement thereof.
B.
Under Section 106.50, Wisconsin Statutes, the Village endorses the
concept of fair and open housing for all persons regardless of sex,
race, color, sexual orientation, disability, religion, national origin,
marital status, lawful source of income, age or ancestry.
C.
The officials and employees of the Village shall assist in the orderly
prevention and removal of all discrimination in housing within the
Village by implementing the authority and enforcement procedures set
forth in Section 106.50, Wisconsin Statutes.
D.
The Municipal Clerk shall maintain forms for complaints to be filed
under Section 106.50, Wisconsin Statutes, and shall assist any person
alleging a violation thereof in the Village to file a complaint there
under with the Wisconsin Department of Work Force Development. Equal
