In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 320, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle at a speed in excess of the speeds listed below on the streets as designated.

The Following Areas Shall Be Designated 15 mph Speed Zones:

Speed Limits for All Other Areas:

When a speed limit sign is present, the speed limit shall be
as posted on the sign. Only signs officially placed by the City, County,
road district or State of Missouri shall be enforced in this manner.
Only white signs with black lettering shall be enforced in this manner.

When a speed limit sign is not present and the area is not specifically
referred to in this schedule, the speed limit shall be 25 miles per
hour on any other street, alley or highway within the corporate limits
of Eldon, Missouri.

|
The speed limit, as posted by the Missouri Department of Transportation,
shall be enforced on all interstates and/or divided highways within
the corporate limits of the City of Eldon.
