There shall be a group in the Absecon Fire Department known
as the "Active Fire Reserve."

The membership shall be limited to active or retired firefighters
of the Absecon Fire Department who have served a minimum of 14 years
as an active fireman. The number of the Active Reserve shall be 10
members.
[1997 § 35-15]
The annual compensation paid to the Active Fire Reserve members
who have attained 40% of duty as certified by the Chief Engineer shall
be an amount as agreed by the City Council in the Absecon Fire Department
annual budget. The moneys shall be a reimbursement for fires and drills
attended.
