A. 
Housing Authority. The Board of Aldermen of the City of Smithville does hereby designate the Housing Authority of the City of Smithville as the operating agency on behalf of the City of Smithville for the administration, operation and regulation of the Community Building referred to herein; said Housing Authority of the City of Smithville is hereby granted the authority to administer and operate said facility on behalf of the City of Smithville and to establish proper regulations for the use and operation thereof, all in accordance with the ordinances of this City.

A. 
Retirement Plan — Adopted; Employees Covered. The City elects to have all its eligible employees covered by the Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System.
B. 
Benefit Program Selected. The City's benefit program for member employees under the retirement system shall be contributory Benefit Program L-7 in accordance with Sections 70.655, 70.705, and 70.730, RSMo.
C. 
Determination Of Final Average Salary. A thirty-six (36) consecutive-month period shall be used for determining a member employee's final average salary under the retirement system in accordance with Sections 70.600 and 70.656, RSMo.
D. 
Retirement Age. The retirement age provision of covered employees provides member employees the option of retirement upon attaining minimum service retirement age in accordance with Sections 70.600, 70.645 and 70.646, RSMo.
