The Mayor of the City of Smithville
does hereby designate the Director of the Clay County Health Department
as the Public Health Official for the said City. This designated Public
Health Officer is authorized to perform all the duties of a health
officer for the City as prescribed by ordinance, law or as a nuisance.
They will serve as the Public Health Officer for the City without
salary or compensation. In performance of their duties, the Director
of the Clay County Health Center shall serve at the direction and
under supervision of the Mayor and/or the Community Development Director.
