As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Includes any person, partnership, association, firm, organization, corporation or other entity.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any sound-amplification or noisemaking machine or apparatus of any kind, capable of being heard out of doors in the Borough of Lewistown, without first having obtained a permit therefor from the Borough Manager. The Manager shall have authority to issue any such permit, subject to stipulated conditions pertinent to the time and place of operation, the nature and volume of sound, and other matters affecting the public health, safety, welfare or morals of the community. Any failure to adhere strictly to all conditions attached thereto shall be grounds for revocation of the permit by the Borough Manager and shall also constitute a violation of this article.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $300 and/or to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days. Every day that a violation of this article continues shall constitute a separate offense.
