Borough of North Haledon, NJ Article XIII E-Mail, Computer and Internet Usage Policy

§ 102-53 Use of Borough computers, telephones and communications systems.

A. All computers, telephones and/or communications systems owned by the Borough of North Haledon shall be used for official Borough business only, and personal and/or nonbusiness use of same in any manner whatsoever is prohibited.

B. The Borough of North Haledon reserves the right to monitor, obtain, review and disclose all e-mail messages, computer files, voicemail and Internet messages and postings on any Borough-owned computer, telephone and/or communications system as deemed necessary and/or appropriate by the Borough of North Haledon. The Borough of North Haledon shall have unrestricted access and the right to disclose all information communicated or stored on e-mail, computer systems, voicemail and Internet for any business reason.
