A.
The
City of Plattsburg hereby adopts the editions of the City Personnel
Manual, dated May 1, 2000, titled "Employee Handbook" and the Personnel
Management Manual, dated May 1, 2000. Such adoption includes such
amendments that may be made from time to time by the Board of Aldermen
without adopting a new edition of the documents. Said documents shall
be the criteria for employment with the City. Copies of said documents
shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk. All earlier editions
and revisions of like or similar documents are hereby rescinded.
B.
The
language in the "Employee Handbook" shall be senior to or take precedence
over contradictory language in the "Personnel Management Manual."

A.
The
City of Plattsburg is a "political subdivision" as
defined in Sections 70.600 through 70.755, RSMo., Supp. 1971, and
hereby elects to have covered by the Missouri Local Government Employees
Retirement System all its eligible employees in the following classes:

The
Board of Aldermen hereby elects that one hundred percent (100%) of
prior employment be considered for prior service credit in computing
benefits and contributions to the system.
C.
The
Board hereby elects to adopt a change in the contributions from covered
employees, changing to the requirements of NO contributions from covered
employees in accordance with the provisions of Section 70.705 and
Section 70.730, RSMo., 1994, as amended by RSMo., 1998 Supplement.
D.
The
Board of Aldermen of the City of Plattsburg hereby elects to refund
any and all accumulated member contributions resulting from employment
with the City of Plattsburg, Missouri, in accordance with the provisions
of Section 70.707, RSMo.

Upon the return to work from an absence in excess of three (3)
working days the employee shall complete a "Return to Work Release
Form," provided by the City, and signed by a health care provider.
This form will provide the ability to list any limitations or restrictions
suggested by said provider. Regardless of the extent of the absence
it shall be the responsibility of the employee to notify the City
of any and all limitations or restrictions created by health problems.
