A.
The special
use permit for a skateboard park within the confines of Parkins Park
is hereby approved with the following conditions:
1.
Flat
concrete surface: seventy-five (75) feet by one hundred (100) feet.
2.
The
skateboard park will be located in the northeastern quadrant of the
park, approximately as shown on the aerial photo which is on file
in the City offices.
3.
No lights
will be installed.
4.
Obstacles,
jumps and other apparatus will be professionally fabricated and approved
by the Park Board prior to installation.
5.
Open
from dawn to dusk each day.
6.
No fence
is necessary but may be built if needed.
7.
At least
two (2) waste receptacles must be located within twenty-five (25)
feet of the edges of the pad.
8.
Adequate
signage must be posted to inform users of park rules and equipment
requirements.
9.
A public
(or pay phone) must be located within fifty (50) feet of the edges
of the pad to ensure adequate emergency telephone communication.
10.
Radios
and other user noise must comply with the City's noise ordinance.
