The Village of Country Club does hereby adopt the 2009 International Building Code; the 2009 International Residential Code; the 2009 International Mechanical Code; the 2009 International Fire Code; the 2009 International Plumbing Code; the 2009 International Fuel Gas Code; and the 2009 International Private Sewage Disposal Code and the National Electrical Code as mandatory use in all building and construction of all structures, plumbing and mechanical work within the confines of the Village.

Section 103.1, creates the enforcement agency as follows: The Department of Building Safety is hereby created and the official in charge thereof shall be known as "the Building Official" also known as "the Building Inspector." This Section also includes fee permit price changes.

No person, firm, corporation or organization shall erect, construct, enlarge or improve any building or structure in the Village or cause the same to be done without doing so in accordance with the 2009 International Building Code; the 2009 International Residential Code; the 2009 International Mechanical Code; the 2009 International Fire Code; the 2009 International Plumbing Code; the 2009 International Fuel Gas Code; and the 2009 International Private Sewage Disposal Code and the National Electric Code.

The Zoning Officer is hereby authorized to make periodic inspections of all construction within the confines of the Village and that all permits granted shall specifically specify that they are issued contingent upon the 2009 International Building Code; the 2009 International Residential Code; the 2009 International Mechanical Code; the 2009 International Fire Code; the 2009 International Plumbing Code; the 2009 International Fuel Gas Code; and the 2009 International Private Sewage Disposal Code and the National Electric Code being followed by the recipient of any construction or building permits.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Country Club, Missouri, establishes that the Department of Building Safety is hereby created and the official in charge thereof shall be known as the Building Official/also known as Building Inspector.

Any person, firm, corporation or organization found in violation of this Article may be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. Each day during which said violation exists is a separate offense.
All construction in the Village shall comply with the requirements of Sections 319.200 through 319.207, RSMo., and any amendments thereto, relating to earthquakes and seismic construction requirements.
