No. 11-1982 as Art. I of Ch. 11 of the 1982 Code]
There is hereby established a Municipal Court, to be known as
the "Municipal Court of Pleasantville."
The Municipal Court of the City shall have an Official Seal,
which shall bear the impress of the name of the court, "Municipal
Court of Pleasantville."
The Municipal Court of the City shall have a Judge, who shall
be known as the "Municipal Judge." He shall have the qualifications
required by law.[1]

The Municipal Judge of the City shall be appointed by the Mayor
with the advice and consent of the Council. He shall serve for a term
of three years from the date of his appointment and until his successor
is appointed and qualified.
The Municipal Judge shall be compensated by an annual salary
as fixed by ordinance adopted by the Council. The compensation so
paid shall be in lieu of any and all other fees.
