There is hereby created within the Borough of Buena a position
known as "Deputy Tax Collector" for the purpose of assisting the Tax
Collector of the Borough of Buena. Appointment to this position shall
be made by the Mayor of the Borough of Buena, with the consent of
Council, and may be for a temporary period of time, on a part-time
basis or full-time. In the event of a part-time or full-time appointment,
the person so appointed shall serve for a term of one year.
The person appointed as Deputy Tax Collector shall work under
the supervision of the Tax Collector of the Borough of Buena and shall
provide such assistance as may be required by said Tax Collector.
In the absence of the Tax Collector, the Deputy Tax Collector shall
be responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the Tax Collector's
office and shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be
necessary to the efficient and proper operation of said office.
