Chapter 14 of the Code of the City of Kirkwood "Motor Vehicles and Traffic" as printed herein is hereby adopted as and for the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Oakland with the exception of the following:
1. 
Sections 14.117--14.119 "Division 4. Traffic Violations Bureau" are deleted.
2. 
Section 14.333 "Parking in yards in residential zones" is deleted.
3. 
Section 14.334 "Downtown parking permit rules" is deleted.
4. 
Section 14.359 "Removal and disposition of unattended vehicles....." is deleted.
5. 
Section 14.360 "Abandonment of vehicles" is deleted.
6. 
Section 14.361 "Restriction on parking of vehicles in residential zoning districts" is deleted.
7. 
Sections 14.374--14.390 "Division 2. Licenses" are deleted.
8. 
Any reference to the Traffic Violations Bureau shall be deemed a reference to the Violations Bureau created by the Code of the City of Oakland.
9. 
Any reference to the City of Kirkwood shall be deemed a reference to the City of Oakland.
10. 
In Section 14.9, the words "Section 1-8 of the Kirkwood Code of Ordinances" shall be replaced with the words "the Oakland Code of Ordinances."
11. 
Any reference to the Kirkwood Council shall be deemed a reference to the Oakland Board of Aldermen.
12. 
Chapter 14, Article III "Traffic Schedules" shall be replaced by Oakland's existing "Schedules," set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300.

12.1. 
Stop Signs. The following intersections are designated stop intersections and traffic shall stop as indicated on Schedule XXVII, set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland.
12.2. 
Speed Limits. No person shall operate a vehicle on any street in the City of Oakland at a rate of speed in excess of the posted speed limit. Vehicles traveling upon the streets described in Schedules XXII, XXIV, XXV and XXVI, and their Subsections, set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland, which includes:
a. 
Thirty (30) miles per hour limits;
b. 
Twenty-five (25) miles per hour limits;
c. 
School zone and school crossings;
d. 
Twenty-five (25) miles per hour for unposted streets or portions of streets.
12.3. 
No Parking Zones. No person shall park a vehicle on the streets or parts of streets listed in Schedules I through XII, and their Subsections, set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland, which includes:
a. 
No parking anytime;
b. 
No parking during certain hours;
c. 
No parking here to corner;
d. 
No parking fire lane;
e. 
2-hour parking only; and
f. 
Handicapped parking.
12.4. 
No person shall use a vehicle to enter streets or parts of streets or shall yield to oncoming vehicles on streets or parts of streets listed in Schedules XXVII through XXIX, and their Subsections, set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland, which includes:
a. 
Do not enter; and
b. 
Yield signs.
12.5. 
Pedestrian Crossings. The following intersections are designated as pedestrian crossing intersections and traffic shall stop and yield to all pedestrians at crossings indicated on Schedule XXI to this Subsection and set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland.
12.6. 
Railroad Crossing Zones. No person shall operate a vehicle on the streets or parts of streets listed in Schedules XVII through XX, and their Subsections, in violation of the traffic maneuvers prohibited by those Subsections set out in Attachment 1 to Chapter 300 of the Code of Oakland, which includes:
a. 
Railroad crossing warning signs;
b. 
No train horn warning signs; and
c. 
No driving or maneuvering around railroad gates.
13. 
In Section 14.54 the words "Chief of Police" shall be replaced by the word "Mayor."
