A.
All municipal waste generated at residential properties throughout
the Township shall be collected by the municipal waste contractor.
B.
Collection of municipal waste and one item of bulk trash shall be
made by the municipal waste contractor at a minimum of once per week
or at such frequency as shall be set forth in a schedule adopted by
the Board of Commissioners of the Township.
C.
Receptacles or carts and the one item of bulk trash shall be placed
at the street curb or at the end of the driveway of the property from
which collected, but in no case within the paved cartway of the street.
It is the responsibility of the individual residents to place their
watertight containers at curbside in time for collection by the municipal
waste collector. Receptacles or carts shall not be placed in a location
which obstructs a public sidewalk or which impedes clear vision for
motorists traveling on the adjacent street or at intersections. No
receptacles or carts shall be placed at the curb or in the front yard
on any lot except during the period beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the
night prior to the scheduled collection and ending at 12:00 midnight
on the day of the scheduled collection. Receptacles or carts shall
be placed for collection no later than 6:00 a.m. of the day scheduled
for collection.
D.
Construction/demolition waste shall not be considered municipal waste
and will not be collected as part of the Township's municipal
waste collection program.
Owners, landlords or residents of multifamily residential properties,
including but not limited to rental townhouses, condominiums and apartments,
shall arrange for the collection of municipal waste for all residents
of such property by a private trash collector.
Owners or occupants of commercial properties, institutional
properties and municipal properties shall arrange for the collection
of municipal waste for such property by a private trash collector.
