No truck with the registered gross weight in excess of 14,001
pounds and no vehicle with dual wheels on any axel or any commercial
vehicles, and no truck tractor, semitrailer or nonmotorized mobile
or travel trailer nor any motorized motor home with the registered
gross weight in excess of 7,500 pounds may be parked on any road,
street, highway or right-of-way owned or maintained by the Township
of Manor or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania within any Residential
Low-Density, Residential Medium- Density, Residential High-Density
or commercially zoned district within the confines of Manor Township;
provided, however, this section may not apply to vehicles making deliveries,
loading merchandise or while the operator of said vehicle is performing
services or repairs, etc., during normal business hours or in an emergency.

and it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or to allow
it to remain parked, in any such zone, except as specifically provided

Editor's Note: Original § 404 of the 1985 Code of
Ordinances, Vehicles in excess of 5,500 pounds restricted parking
in certain areas, which immediately followed this section, was repealed
1-6-2003 by Ord. No. 2-2003.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs, payable
within 10 days. Provided: it shall be the duty of the police officers
and of parking enforcement personnel of the Township to report to
the Chief of Police all violations of any provision of this article,
indicating, in each case: the section violated; the license number
of the vehicle involved in the violation; the location where the violation
took place; and any other facts that might be necessary in order to
secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation.
The police officer or other person making the report shall also attach
to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle
was parked in violation of this article.

A.
A fine of $25, payable within 10 days, shall be imposed upon the
owner of any motor vehicle parked in the Township of Manor in any
of the following conditions:
(1)
Parked at a distance greater than 10 inches from any curb.
(2)
Parked more than 48 hours on any street or roadway.
(3)
Parked in any posted "No Parking Zone."
(4)
Parked in a condition of "double parking" on any street or roadway.
(5)
Parked against the flow of traffic on any street or roadway.
(6)
Parked within 25 feet of any intersection.
(7)
Parked within 30 feet of any stop sign.
(8)
Parked or stopped within the portion of any street or roadway intended
for the use of moving traffic.
(9)
Parked within 15 feet of any fire hydrant.
(10)
Parked within 20 feet of any fire station driveway.
(11)
Parked in front of any private driveway. Except that this provision
shall not apply where the owner of the motor vehicle is also the owner
of the driveway.
(12)
Parked on any street or roadway when the motor vehicle does
not bear a current registration plate.
(13)
Parked on any street or roadway when the motor vehicle does
not bear a valid Pennsylvania inspection sticker.
(14)
Parked on any street or roadway any boat or nonmotorized trailer,
except for loading and unloading.
B.
A fine of $25, payable within 10 days, is hereby imposed upon the
owner and/or any person who repairs or services any motor vehicles
on any street or roadway in the Township except where such repairs
or services are of an emergency nature.
