Township of Livingston, NJ Chapter 253 Shuttle Bus Service

§ 253-1 Bus shuttle service established.

A. To be known as the Livingston Jitney;

B. The initial route shall be from Livingston Mall to the South Orange Train Station;

C. Additional routes may be added as deemed appropriate.

§ 253-2 Fees; advertising space.

A fee shall be paid to ride the jitney.

A. Two dollars per each ride or monthly pass of $70.

B. Advertising space on the jitney will be sold at a rate of $1,000 to $5,000 per month based on the size of the jitney and frequency of service.

C. Changes to any fees established by this chapter shall be permitted by resolution.

§ 253-3 Selection of operator.

A bus operator shall be selected through a bidding process.
