A. 
All employees of the City of Bowling Green shall:
1. 
Maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism when acting as an employee of the City of Bowling Green.
2. 
Be dedicated to the concept that, as employees of local government, each individual is essential to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the City.
3. 
Maintain a constructive, creative, practical attitude toward his/her responsibilities as an employee and maintain respect for every individual's role as a trusted public servant.
4. 
Recognize that the primary function of the City of Bowling Green and its employees is to provide services to the citizens of Bowling Green.
5. 
Strive to deliver services that are of the highest quality possible, as efficiently and effectively as possible.
6. 
Seek no favors, realizing that personal profit gained from the public trust or a misuse of time, paid for by the City, is dishonest.
7. 
Refrain from activities, both on and off duty, which would impair one's performance as a public servant.
8. 
Encourage and emphasize friendly and courteous service to the public and seek to improve the quality of life within the City of Bowling Green and the image of public service in the City.
