City of Oak Grove, MO Chapter 520 Sanitary Sewer Design and Construction Standards

Section 520.010 Short Title.

This Chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Sanitary Sewer Design and Construction Standards Chapter.

Section 520.020 Design Criteria.

All design of sanitary sewers and appurtenances shall conform to Section 5500 of the Kansas City Metropolitan Chapter, American Public Works Association (APWA) Standard "Design Criteria for Sanitary Sewers and Appurtenances" latest standard edition and regulations of the State of Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

Section 520.030 Plan Preparation.

Plan preparation for sanitary sewers shall be done in accordance with Appendix A, Section 5500 of the APWA Sanitary Sewer Standard.

Section 520.040 Materials and Construction.

All materials used and construction procedures for sanitary sewers and appurtenances shall conform to Section 2500 of the APWA Standard "Sanitary Sewer Specifications and Standards" latest standard edition as modified by the City's Technical Specifications and Design Criteria for Utility and Street Construction and regulations of the State of Missouri DNR.

Section 520.050 City Standard Detail Drawings.

A. The attached City standard detail drawings shall be utilized in the design, the furnishing of materials and the construction of sanitary sewers in Oak Grove, Missouri.

1. Pipe bedding.

2. Pavement removal and replacement.

3. Manholes.

4. Standard frames and covers.

Section 520.060 Amendment and Interpretation.

The City reserves the right to amend or modify this Chapter and to interpret the meaning of all statements made herein.
