This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Streets
and Public Places Law of the Village of Old Brookville."
The purpose of this chapter is to provide reasonable regulations
for the public safety, health and welfare of the residents of the
Village of Old Brookville in the use of public streets and placed
other than traffic regulations.
As used in this chapter, unless the context or subject matter
otherwise requires:
Any improved or unimproved path or walk on any street intended
or used for pedestrian traffic.
Any public right-of-way for the use of vehicles and pedestrians
and includes the words, "boulevard," "highway," "lane," "court," or
"way," and similar designations.
