No street light shall be turned on or installed unless both requirements aforementioned are met.
[CC 1996 §510.300; CC 1977 §69.910]
In the event the requirements of Section 510.090 are satisfied for a proposed street light, the Board of Aldermen may, at their discretion, determine that it is in the best interest of public safety to locate the proposed light at the site of a former street light where a fixture remains, although unlit, or at the closest street intersection, even though that might be closer than two hundred fifty (250) feet from an existing lit street light.
