A.
Training Of Peace Officers.
1.
In accordance with Section 488.5336, RSMo., the Cass County Commission
hereby directs the officials responsible for collecting court costs
and fines to collect three dollars ($3.00) for each violation of the
general criminal laws of the State, including infractions or violations
of the orders of the County, provided that no such fee shall be collected
for non-moving traffic violations, and no such fee shall be collected
for violations of fish and game regulations, and no such fee shall
be collected in any proceeding in any court when the proceeding or
defendant has been dismissed by the court.

Two dollars ($2.00) of such fees collected shall be transmitted monthly
to the Treasurer of the County to be deposited in the "Law Enforcement
Training Fund (LET)" in which all funds shall be used for training
local Law Enforcement Officers. One dollar ($1.00) of such fees collected
shall be deposited into the Peace Officers and Training Commission
Fund, to be used statewide for training Law Enforcement Officers.
The checks should be payable to the "Treasurer, State of Missouri"
and mailed on or before the fifteenth (15th) of each month to: Budget
Director, P.O. Box 749, Jefferson City, MO 65102-6749.
B.
Domestic Violence Surcharge. The Cass County Commission,
in official session on 7th December, 2000, orders that a surcharge
be imposed upon any civil case filed in the Circuit Court under the
provisions of Section 488.445, RSMo. The surcharge shall not be charged
when no court costs are otherwise required and shall not be charged
when costs are waived or are to be paid by the State, County or municipality.
The surcharge imposed upon the filing of a civil action shall be two
dollars ($2.00), shall be paid by the party who filed the petition
and shall be collected and disbursed by the Clerk of the Court in
the manner provided by Sections 488.010 to 488.020, RSMo.
C.
County Judicial Facility Surcharge.
1.
A surcharge of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be assessed as costs in
all criminal cases including violations of any County ordinance or
any violations of criminal or traffic laws of the State including
infractions, except that no such surcharge shall be collected in any
proceeding in any court when the proceeding or the defendant has been
dismissed by the court or when costs are to be paid by the State or
County.
D.
A surcharge
of four dollars ($4.00) shall be assessed per case for each criminal
case, including violations of any County ordinance, except that no
surcharge shall be collected when the proceeding or defendant has
been dismissed by the Court or when costs are to be paid by the State
or County. The surcharges levied pursuant to this Subsection shall
only be used for the purpose of providing operating expenses for shelters
for battered persons as defined in Sections 455.200 to 455.230, RSMo.

A.
A fee
shall be imposed upon the entry of a decree of dissolution of marriage
by a Circuit Court under the provisions of Section 452.305, RSMo.
The fee to be imposed is ten dollars ($10.00) and is to be paid by
the party who filed the petition. These funds, when collected, shall
be deposited in a special fund by the Cass County Treasurer to provide
financial assistance to shelters for victims of domestic violence
per Sections 455.200 to 455.230, RSMo. This Section is to become effective
upon the issuance of a local court rule by the 17th Judicial Circuit
Presiding Judge.
B.
Pursuant
to Section 455.210, RSMo., the Cass County Commission designates the
Cass County Commission as the authority to administer the allocation
and distribution of the funds to shelters for victims of domestic
violence. Funds shall be distributed pursuant to Sections 455.220
to 455.230, RSMo.
