A. 
No person shall use any street, or portion thereof, for playing of any kind, except streets that have been temporarily designated for play.
B. 
The Director of Public Works at the direction of the City Council shall place appropriate signs or devices upon such streets as may be temporarily used for play.

A. 
No person, firm or corporation shall store tires outside of a building within the City.
B. 
Any person, firm or corporation who violates this Section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to erect or maintain a barbed wire fence in the City along or adjacent to any public street, alley, park, lane, cemetery or other public grounds.

A. 
Presence Of Children. It shall be unlawful for any person operating a public pool or billiard room within the City to permit minors under the age of eighteen (18) years to congregate, be or remain within such pool or billiard room at any time, unless accompanied by the parent or guardian or having written consent thereof.
B. 
Betting. It shall be unlawful for any person operating a public pool or billiard room within the City to permit the betting of any money or property upon the outcome of any other game, including card games, dice, races or upon any other thing.
C. 
Hours. It shall be unlawful to operate or keep open any public pool or billiard room in the City between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M., on any day of the week.

No person shall pursue or practice within the City the vocation, profession or art of fortuneteller, clairvoyant, spirit medium, necromancer, seer, astrologist, palmist, prophet or other like craft or occult art, or art of divination, or pretended art, or telling past events of another's life or others' lives or affairs, or foretelling knowledge of future events of another's life or others' lives or affairs, or in any way revealing things of the past or of the future of a secret or hidden nature, or giving advice or assistance in matters of business or affairs of any kind or nature by means of such art, or purport so to tell, foretell, reveal or give advice or assistance by means of such art; and no person shall so pursue or practice within the City such vocations or professions, or any of them, whether for a price or gratuity or whether by offer or upon request. The maintenance, display, posting or advertising, or the causing to be maintained, displayed, posted or advertised, of any sign, card, bill or announcement of any kind whatever indicating the pursuit or practice of any such vocation, profession or art, or indicating an offer to render service in such pursuit or practice, shall, upon proof thereof, be sufficient evidence against such person so maintaining, displaying, posting or advertising, or causing the same to be done, of a violation of this Section.

A. 
It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person to smoke cigarettes, cigars or pipes in any portion of any City building, or of the premises thereof, whereon is posted a notice by the City Council designating such area as a "No Smoking" area.
B. 
The City Council of the City of Overland is hereby authorized to establish and order the posting of such notices upon motion duly made and seconded in any regular or special meeting of the City Council.
C. 
Any person who is convicted of a violation of this Section shall be fined not less than one dollar ($1.00) or more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each such conviction thereof.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for the owner, operator or proprietor of any business having a window opening onto any public street or sidewalk to obstruct the view through said window into the interior of said business premises for longer than ten (10) consecutive days by the use of paint, soap, newspaper, cardboard, or any material not designed as a window treatment or covering.
B. 
Further, it shall be unlawful for the owner, operator or proprietor of any business having a window opening to the exterior of the building to install or have installed any metal bars, screens or grilles over the window opening on either the exterior or interior of the building.
No person shall drain nor allow the drainage from any swimming pool to flow onto the property of another or into any storm sewer.

The tenants or occupants of all premises occupied by them and the owners or agents of vacant property or lots owned by them or under their control shall ensure that no portable or fixed basketball goal shall be placed, erected or maintained within the right-of-way of any public street within the municipal limits of the City of Overland except the right-of-way of any public street that has been temporarily designated for play.
