Pursuant to § 62.23(2) and (3), Wis. Stats., the City
of Arcadia is authorized to prepare, adopt and amend a comprehensive
plan as defined in § 66.1001(1)(a) and (2), Wis. Stats.
The Common Council of the City of Arcadia has adopted and followed
written procedures designed to foster public participation at every
stage of the preparation of the amendments and updates to the Comprehensive
Plan as required by § 66.1001(4)(a), Wis. Stats.
The Plan Commission of the City of Arcadia, by a majority vote
of the entire Commission recorded in its official minutes, has adopted
a resolution recommending to the Common Council the adoption of the
document titled "Comprehensive Plan - 2015 Update," containing all
of the elements specified in § 66.1001(2), Wis. Stats. The
document titled "Comprehensive Plan - 2015 Update" amends and updates
the document titled "2009 Comprehensive Plan."
The City of Arcadia has held at least one public hearing on
this ordinance, in compliance with the requirements of § 66.1001(4)(d),
Wis. Stats.
The Common Council of the City of Arcadia, Wisconsin, does,
by enactment of this ordinance, formally adopt the document titled
"Comprehensive Plan - 2015 Update" pursuant to § 66.1001(4)(c),
Wis. Stats.
