The Fire Marshal shall be responsible for fire prevention and fire code[1] enforcement in the Township.

The Fire Marshal shall be appointed by the Manager with the approval of the Council.
The duties of the Fire Marshal shall be to:
A. 
Initiate and administer a fire prevention program for the Township.
B. 
Enforce the fire code.
C. 
Serve as liaison between the Manager and the volunteer fire company(ies).
D. 
Coordinate volunteer fire company operations and activities.
