It is the desire of the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Lower Burrell in the County of Westmoreland in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and said Board of Supervisors hereby signifies its intention to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

In pursuance of said desire and intentions and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Municipality Authorities Act and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full, as follows:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF THE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF LOWER BURRELL
WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pa.
In compliance with the requirement of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, approved the second day of May, 1945. P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Municipal Authorities of the Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, that a Municipal Authority be established under the provisions of the aforementioned law, the Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, desiring that a Municipal Authority be established and that a Certificate of Incorporation be issued to said Authority, does not hereby certify:
A.
The name of the Authority shall be "Municipal Authority of the City of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania."
B.
The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
C.
No other Authority has been organized under the provisions of this Act, or under the Act approved the 28th day of June, 1935, P.L. 463, and is in existence within said Township.
D.
The name of the incorporating municipality is the Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
The name and addresses of the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, are as follows: [Here followed a list of names and addresses of the Board of Supervisors.]
E.
The names and addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are as follows: [Here followed a list of names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Authority.] All of whom reside in and are citizens of the Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
F.
The term of existence of the Authority is increased to a date of 50 years from the date of approval of these Articles of Amendment.
The project to be undertaken by said Authority is hereby specified to be for the purpose of acquiring holding, construction, improving, maintaining, owning and leasing, in the capacity of lessee or lessor, a sewer system and sewage disposal system in the said Township of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and to make certain charges for the service rendered in connection therewith as may be prescribed and fixed from time to time by the Board of said Authority.
Said proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the Township of Lower Burrell, by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of said Township and the seal of said Township shall thereto affixed attested by the Secretary of the Board of Supervisors of said Township, and filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth. The solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published the notice of intention to file the Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of the Commonwealth as required by the aforementioned Act.
