A.
The
Mayor, with the consent and approval of a majority of the members
of the Board of Aldermen, is hereby authorized to appoint a Chief
of the Fire Department.
B.
The
Chief of the Fire Department shall serve during good behavior and
may be removed at any time by and in conformity with the provisions
of Section 79.240, RSMo.
The Chief of the Fire Department shall be in active charge of
the Fire Department.
