A. 
The following user fees and deposits shall be charged for the use of Park Department facilities in the City of Valley Park:
1. 
Picnic Shelters (Leonard Park/Arnolds Grove Trail Head).
a. 
A rate of sixty dollars ($60.00) per day for Valley Park residents.
b. 
A rate of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) per day for non-residents.
c. 
A rate of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per day for Valley Park businesses.
d. 
A rate of three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) per day for non-Valley Park businesses.
e. 
Anyone who rents a picnic shelter from November 1 to March 21 shall be required to supply an outdoor restroom facility for the rental duration.
2. 
Brignole Center (Meeting Rooms).
a. 
A rate of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per hour for Valley Park residents.
b. 
A rate of forty-five dollars ($45.00) per hour for non-residents.
c. 
A rate of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per hour for Valley Park businesses.
d. 
A rate of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per hour for non-Valley Park businesses.
e. 
All reservations require a two-hour minimum.
3. 
Athletic Fields.
a. 
A rate of ten dollars ($10.00) per hour for unlighted fields.
b. 
A rate of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per hour for lighted fields.
c. 
If the concession stand is open no food and drinks will be allowed.
4. 
Archery Range.
a. 
A rate of forty dollars ($40.00) per day.
b. 
No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
5. 
Permit To Sell On Parks Property.
a. 
A fee of thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for special events with one (1) to two hundred fifty (250) people.
b. 
A fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for special events with two hundred fifty-one (251) to one thousand (1,000) people.
c. 
A fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for special events with over one thousand (1,000) people.
6. 
A two hundred dollars ($200.00) damage deposit is required at the time of reservation. A five hundred dollars ($500.00) damage deposit is required when there will be alcohol on the premises. The damage deposit is refundable and will be returned after the event if the Parks Director determines that no damage to the facility has occurred, the premises are cleaned appropriately by the user, and the key(s) are returned to City Hall. In the event damage occurs or excessive cleaning is required, the damage deposit shall be applied toward any expense the City incurs, with any remaining amount returned to the user. Deposits shall be paid separate from the rental fee by check only.
7. 
Cancellations made within fourteen (14) days from the date of rental are nonrefundable.
8. 
Any Valley Park non-profit organization shall only be required to pay the applicable damage deposit, and fees may be waived at the discretion of the Board of Aldermen.
9. 
Any resident head of the household who is a veteran of the United States Armed Services or is currently on active duty military status shall be exempted from user fees for two (2) uses within a calendar year. Proof of such status shall be made to the Parks Director.
