As of the first (1st) day of the month following the completion
of the purchase or construction of a waterworks system within the
City, the existing sewerage system of the City of Pevely, Jefferson
County, Missouri, shall be combined with the waterworks system purchased
or constructed within said City into one (1) system and that, thereafter,
said system shall be operated as a combined waterworks and sewerage
system; said combined system shall consist of the entire waterworks
system then existing and the entire sewerage system then existing
of said City, together with all future improvements and extensions
thereto.

A.
No
telephone company not having a franchise from the City of Pevely will
install or place on the City streets, alleys or thoroughfares any
telephone pole, wire or remove any such telephone pole, wire or appurtenance
now located on any such street, alley or thoroughfare in the City
of Pevely.
B.
Nothing
in this Section shall be constructed as regulating or restricting
the right and duty of any telephone company to install or repair any
telephone and to remove and connect wires for that purpose or do any
other act reasonably relating to the installation or repair of any
telephone.
C.
Any
person, individual or corporation violating the provisions of this
Section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a
term of not to exceed thirty (30) days in jail or a fine of not to
exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00), or both.
