Borough of Sharon Hill, PA Article I Building Code

[Adopted 2-28-2002 by Ord. No. 1285 (Ch. 46, Art. I, of the 1972 Code)]

§ 125-1 Adoption of standards.

A certain document, which is on file in the office of the Borough Manager of the Borough of Sharon Hill, being marked and designated as the "International Building Code," including appendix chapters, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., be and is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the Borough of Sharon Hill, in the State of Pennsylvania, for the control of building and structures as herein provided, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Building Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 125-2 of this article.

§ 125-2 Modifications to standards.

The following sections are hereby revised:

A. Section 101.1: "The Borough of Sharon Hill" is hereby inserted as the applicable jurisdiction.

B. Section 903.1: Automatic sprinkler systems shall be installed in all newly constructed buildings as specified in Ordinance 1279 previously adopted.[1]

C. Section 1612.3: The "Borough of Sharon Hill" shall be the jurisdiction.

D. Section 1612.3: The date of issuance shall be "September 30, 1993."

E. Section 3409.2: The date to be inserted shall be "February 28, 2002."
