The inhabitants of the City of Pasadena Hills, as its limits
now are or may hereafter be defined by law, shall be and continue
a body corporate by the name of "The City of Pasadena Hills" and as
such shall have perpetual succession, may sue and be sued, implead
and be impleaded, defend and be defended in all courts of law and
equity and in all actions whatever; may receive and hold property,
both real and personal, within such City and may purchase, receive
and hold real estate within or without such City for the burial of
the dead; and may purchase, hold, lease, sell or otherwise dispose
of any property, real or personal, it now owns or may hereafter acquire;
may receive bequests, gifts and donations of all kinds of property;
and may have and hold one (1) common Seal and may break, change or
alter the same at pleasure; and may do any act, exercise any power
and render any service which contributes to the general welfare, and
all courts of this State shall take judicial notice thereof.

Editor's Note — The City of Pasadena Hills elects to
become a Fourth Class City, which was approved by the legal voters
of the City at a duly called election on February 2, 1982. [Ord. No.

A.
The
Seal of the City of Pasadena Hills shall be circular in form, one
and seven-eighths (1⅞) inches in diameter, with the words "St.
Louis County, Missouri" engraved across the face thereof, and the
words "Seal of the City of Pasadena Hills" engraved on the face thereof
and near the outer edge of said Seal, and the same is hereby declared
to be adopted as the Seal of the City of Pasadena Hills.
B.
The
City Clerk shall be the keeper of the common Seal of the City of Pasadena
Hills, and any impression of said Seal to any contract or other writing
shall have no validity or binding obligation upon the City unless
such impression be accompanied by the attestation and signature of
the City Clerk, and then only in cases authorized by law or the ordinances
of this City.

The City limits of the City of Pasadena Hills, St. Louis County,
Missouri, shall hereafter, until altered or changed, be known and
described by and according to metes and bounds, corners, courses and
distances, to wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Section Three, Pasadena
Hills Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book Twenty-Eight, pages 30
and 31 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being also the
northwest corner of Lot 25, Block 25 of said Section Three of Pasadena
Hills Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the north line of said
Section Three of Pasadena Hills and the prolongation thereof to a
point twenty (20) feet west of the centerline of Lucas and Hunt Road
(eighty (80) feet wide); thence southwardly along said line twenty
(20) feet west of the centerline of Lucas and Hunt Road to the north
line of the right-of-way of the Public Service Company, said point
being the southeast corner of Section One of Pasadena Hills Subdivision,
as recorded in Plat Book Twenty-Seven, page 6 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Section One
of Pasadena Hills Subdivision to the prolongation northwardly of the
eastern line of Lot Seven of Devaney Place as recorded in Plat Book
Twelve, page 38 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly
along said prolongation and along said east line of Lot Seven of Devaney
Place and the prolongation southwardly thereof to a point twenty (20)
feet south of the north line of Natural Bridge Road; thence westwardly
along a line twenty (20) feet south of the north line of Natural Bridge
Road to the prolongation southwardly of the west line of Lot Eight
of Devaney Place; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along
the west line of said Lot Eight and the prolongation northwardly thereof
to the south line of said Section One of Pasadena Hills Subdivision;
thence westwardly along the south line of said Section One of Pasadena
Hills to the west line of said Section One of Pasadena Hills; thence
northwardly along said west line of Section One of Pasadena Hills
to the south line of Section Two of Pasadena Hills Subdivision as
recorded in Plat Book Twenty-Seven, page 43 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Section Two
of Pasadena Hills to the southwest corner of said Section Two of Pasadena
Hills; thence northwardly and continuing northwardly along the west
line of said Section Two of Pasadena Hills to the north line of Huntington
Drive; thence westwardly and northwardly along an arc of a circle
of 43.18 feet radius to the south line of Warwick Drive as laid out
fifty (50) feet wide on the Amended Plat of Pasadena Park as recorded
in Plat Book Nineteen, pages 30 and 31 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence eastwardly along said north line of Warwick Drive to a point
opposite the southeast corner of Lot 12, Block 5 of said Amended Plat
of Pasadena Park; thence across Warwick Drive to the southeast corner
of said Lot 12, Block 5; thence eastwardly and northwardly along a
curve to the left along the southern and eastern lines of Lots 13,
14 and part of Lot 15 in Block 5 of last named subdivision to a point
of tangent in the eastern line of said Lot 15; thence northwardly
along the western line of Country Club Drive, as shown on said plat
of Pasadena Park Amended and its prolongation northwardly to its intersection
with the prolongation eastwardly of the northern line of Lot 16, Block
9 of Pasadena Park Amended; thence eastwardly along last named prolongation
to its intersection with the eastern line of Country Club Drive sixty
(60) feet wide, as said eastern line of Country Club Drive, as shown
on said plat, to its intersection with the southeastern line of Parkdale
Drive, fifty (50) feet wide as shown on said plat of Pasadena Park
Amended; thence in a northerly direction in a straight line to a point
in the western line of Lot 1, Block 26 of Section Three, Pasadena
Hills, recorded in Plat Book Twenty-Eight at pages 30 and 31 of the
St. Louis County Records, said point being distance 137.89 feet southwardly
of the northwestern corner of said Lot 1, Block 26; thence in a northerly
direction along the eastern line of Country Club Drive to the northwestern
corner of Lot 26 in Block 25 of Section 3, Pasadena Hills; thence
northwestwardly along the northwestern line of said Lot 26 to the
western line of Lot 25 in said Block 25; thence in a northerly direction
along the western line of said Lot 25 to the northwestern corner of
said Lot 25, the place of beginning.
