There is hereby created and established in and for the City
of Pasadena Hills the office of Environmental Commissioner. Said Environmental
Commissioner shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of a
majority of the Board of Aldermen to serve at the pleasure of the
Mayor and the Board of Aldermen.

The compensation of the Environmental Commissioner shall be
established by ordinance from time to time by the Board of Aldermen.

The Environmental Commissioner shall be responsible for the
maintenance and care of the fountain located at Roland Boulevard and
Country Club Avenue; the pond and surrounding area, including the
bridge and fountain, located between North Roland Avenue and South
Roland Avenue; the sprinkler system located in the public parkways
throughout the City; and lawn maintenance in the park areas throughout
the City.
