Pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Municipal Home Rule
Law, and notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, including,
but not limited to, § 3 of the Public Officers Law, the
Court Clerk of the Town of Mendon need not be a resident of the Town.

Pursuant to relevant provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law,
and notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, including,
but not limited to, the Town Law and the Public Officers Law, the
offices of Deputy Town Attorney, Planning Board Attorney and Assessor
may be held by a nonresident of the Town who is a resident of Monroe
County.
