It shall be unlawful for any person to drain, cause or permit
to drain or discharge into the sanitary sewers of the City any surface
water drainage originating on the buildings and premises of any property
within the City limits.
[Amended 4-14-1992 by Ord. No. 1518]
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article,
upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine or penalty not
exceeding $1,000, plus costs of prosecution and, in default of payment
of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for a period not exceeding
90 days, and the City Engineer may cause the offending drainage to
be disconnected at the cost and expense of the offender.
