Former Chapter 112, entitled "Junk and Junk Vehicles," adopted
by the Common Council of the Borough of Milford on December 18, 1989,
as Ordinance No. 527-89, and any or all other ordinances or parts
thereof either in conflict or inconsistent with any of the provisions
hereof are hereby repealed to such extent as they are so in conflict
or inconsistent.
The adoption of this chapter and the repeal of former Chapter 112, entitled "Junk and Junk Vehicles," adopted by the Common Council of the Borough of Milford on December 18, 1989, as Ordinance No. 527-89, as provided for in §112-12 of this chapter shall not affect any ordinance, or the rights and obligations created thereunder, which are hereby expressly saved from repeal:
A.
Any offense
or act committed or done before the effective date of this chapter
in violation of any legislative provision or repealed ordinance or
any penalty, punishment or forfeiture which may result therefrom;
and
B.
Any prosecution,
indictment, action, suit or other proceeding pending or any judgment
rendered, prior to the effective date of this chapter, brought pursuant
to any legislative provision or repealed ordinance.
