A Municipal Court is hereby established under the authority of N.J.S.A. 2A:8-1, as amended and supplemented.
The Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council, shall appoint a Judge for a term of three years, who shall be known as the "Judge of the Municipal Court." Said Judge of the Municipal Court shall possess such qualifications as set forth in N.J.S.A. 2A:8-7.

A. 
The Mayor and Council shall appoint and employ a qualified person as Municipal Court Administrator to hold office until January 1 next following his appointment and until his successor is appointed.
B. 
Tenure shall be provided to the Municipal Court Administrator pursuant to and otherwise in accordance with N.J.S.A. 2A:8-13.1 and 2A:8-13.3.
C. 
The salary of the Municipal Court Administrator shall be as provided by the Annual Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Somerdale.[1]

D. 
The Mayor and Council may appoint by resolution other clerical personnel, including a Deputy Municipal Court Administrator, as it shall deem necessary for the operation of the Court, and a Traffic Violations Bureau under the jurisdiction of the Court and the Judge of the Borough of Somerdale Municipal Court, with compensation to be as provided by the Annual Salary Ordinance of the Borough of Somerdale.[2]
