A. The Mayor and Council may employ a resident of the Borough of Somerdale
as Deputy Borough Clerk, to hold office until the first day of January
next following his appointment.
B. Duties.
(1) He shall perform all the duties of the Borough Clerk and be invested
with the powers and duties of the Borough Clerk during the absence
or disability of the Borough Clerk.
(2) He shall perform such other duties assigned by the Mayor and Council.
The Deputy Borough Clerk shall receive a salary as provided
by the Salary Ordinance of the Borough.
