[Adopted 11-12-1975 (Ch. 35, Art. III, of the 1973 Code)]
It shall be unlawful for any person to consume alcoholic beverages within the Borough of Somerdale:
A. 
While in or on a public street, lane or sidewalk, public parking lot or public or quasi-public place or in any public conveyance.
B. 
In a private motor vehicle while the same is in motion or parked in or upon any public street or lane or public parking lot.
C. 
While upon any private property not his own without the express permission of the owner or other person having authority to grant such permission.
It shall be unlawful for any person to discard alcoholic beverage containers within the Borough of Somerdale upon any public street, lane or sidewalk, public parking lot or public or quasi-public place or upon any private property not his own without the express permission of the owner or other person having authority to grant such permission.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to any combination of the following:
A. 
A fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000.
B. 
A term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days.
C. 
A period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
