It shall be lawful to conduct games of chance on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday," pursuant to the Bingo Licensing Law (P.L. 1954, c. 6), as specifically authorized in N.J.S.A. 5:8-31, and to conduct games of chance pursuant to the Raffles Licensing Law (P.L. 1954, c. 5), as specifically authorized in N.J.S.A. 5:8-58 and as hereinafter provided.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to conduct any games of chance in this municipality without first obtaining a license from the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Somerdale so to do.
Said license shall be issued pursuant to and subject to the provisions of the Bingo Licensing Law (PI. 1954, c. 6, N.J.S.A. 5:8-31), the Raffles Licensing Law (P.L. 1954, c. 5, N.J.S.A. 5:8-58) and further subject to the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.
Each applicant for such license shall file with the Borough Clerk a written application in suggested form as and prescribed by and in accordance with the aforementioned laws, rules and regulations.
The fees to conduct games of chance as aforesaid on Sunday shall be as provided by the aforementioned Bingo Licensing Law, Raffles Licensing Law and rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.
All games of chance conducted on Sunday as provided herein shall be conducted in accordance with the Bingo Licensing Law (P.L. 1954, c. 6, N.J.S.A. 5:8-31), Raffles Licensing Law (P.L. 1954, c. 5, N.J.S.A. 5:8-58) and the rules and regulations of the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission.

A. 
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to any combination of the following:
(1) 
A fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000.
(2) 
A term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days.
(3) 
A period of community service not exceeding 90 days.
B. 
The above penalties shall be in addition to any suspension or revocation of any such license as provided by law.
