A.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 5a of the Act, N.J.S.A. 40:14B-4,
it is hereby created a public body corporate and politic under the
name and style of the "Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority,"
the "Authority." The Authority shall consist of five members and shall
constitute the municipal authority contemplated and provided for in
the Act and shall be an agency and instrumentality of the City of
Atlantic City.
B.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Act, N.J.S.A. 40: 14B-17, each
member of the Authority who is not serving as a public official elected
to office for a position in the City of Atlantic City shall receive
compensation for his services to said Authority in the amount of $6,000
per annum and in addition shall receive all benefits and rights of
compensation, including insurance, as provided to all other officers
and employees of the Authority.
C.
Pursuant
to the provisions of the Act, the membership of the Authority shall
also consist of two alternate members to be designated as Alternate
No. 1 and Alternate No. 2. Alternate No. 1 shall serve for an initial
term of four years and Alternate No. 2 shall serve for an initial
term of five years. Following the initial term, each alternate shall
serve for a period of five years.

A copy of this article, duly certified by the Clerk, shall be
filed in the office of the Secretary of State of New Jersey pursuant
to the provisions of the Act.
