The Town Board of the Town of Delaware may by resolution adopted
by a majority vote of the members thereof authorize and direct the
Town Clerk/Tax Collector of the Town of Delaware to mail, together
with tax bills and/or receipts, specified notices or documents. Such
notices or documents shall consist only of worthwhile items or information
for the benefit of the citizens of the Town of Delaware and shall
not include advertisements or propaganda.
This chapter shall supersede in its application to the Town
of Delaware the provisions of § 1826 of the Tax Law of the
State of New York.
