A code regulating and controlling the location, construction,
alteration, operation and the issuance of permits to locate and construct,
alter or operate public swimming pools, hot tubs, spas and public
recreational bathing beaches is hereby adopted pursuant to Chapter
IX, Public Recreational Bathing Beach Code, N.J.A.C. 8:26-1 et seq.
(1991).

Permits issued for the operation of a public swimming pool shall
expire annually on May 31 of each year and application for renewal
thereof shall be submitted together with the required fee prior to
June 1 of each year.
Permits required by this chapter or Code may be denied or suspended
by the Department of Health and Social Services for failure to comply
with this chapter or Code.
