A.
The County Administrator shall annually undertake a performance evaluation
of each department manager appointed by the Levy Court, with certain
exceptions. This evaluation shall be conducted for the purpose of
providing the Levy Court with written information to be used by the
Levy Court in determining, among other considerations, adjustments
to the annual salary of the department manager.
B.
The performance evaluation shall be conducted in a manner to be determined
by the County Administrator and shall include but not be limited to
an evaluation of overall job performance, supervisory and administrative
skills, reliability, personnel relations and responsibility.
C.
The department manager will be asked to sign the written performance
evaluation indicating that he or she has reviewed it with the County
Administrator and understands it. The evaluation shall be considered
confidential by the County Administrator and shall be given only to
the Levy Court.
D.
All evaluations are to be completed and presented annually to the
Levy Court no later than June 1.
