All nautical traffic on the Fox River as it passes through the Village of Allouez shall travel at no wake speed while on the following areas of the Fox River:
From the northwest Allouez Village limits on the east side of the Fox River to the Fox River Valley railroad bridge which runs perpendicular to South Monroe Avenue and Riverside Drive and which crosses the Fox River immediately south of Marine Street in the Village of Allouez.

"No wake speed" means the slowest possible speed at which steerage can be maintained.
Control buoys or signs may be placed so that nautical traffic is alerted to the no wake speed areas designated above.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this article, upon conviction, shall forfeit not less than $50 nor more than $500 and pay the costs of prosecution or, in the event of failure to pay such forfeiture and costs within the time set by the court, any such person shall be committed to the Brown County Jail until such forfeiture and costs are paid, but every such commitment shall be for a definite term which shall not exceed 90 days. Each act of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
