A separate fund titled "Forest Management" is hereby created by the Borough of Boyertown.
The separate Forest Management Fund shall be comprised of revenue received from trees harvested on Borough watershed properties surrounding the Borough's drinking water reservoirs at Popodickon Dam and Trout Run Dam.
The revenues in the separate Forest Management Fund shall be utilized exclusively for forest management, including, but not limited to, stream bank management, fire road maintenance, other similar improvements and maintenance, planting trees, removing invasive plant species, control of tree-damaging insects, and planning and consulting services related thereto in the forest property owned and controlled by the Borough.
Any expenditure from the separate Forest Management Fund shall require approval of Borough Council by resolution which shall specify the forest management practice(s) authorized by § 111-3 hereof for the expenditure.
