(A) 
The term "peddler," as used in this article, shall be construed to mean any individual who, by going from place to place, shall sell, offer for sale, sell and deliver, barter or exchange any goods, wares, merchandise or country produce, fruits or vegetables from a vehicle or otherwise.
(B) 
Classification of peddlers.
(1) 
Wagon or cart peddler: peddlers selling from wagons, pushcarts and handcarts.
(2) 
Pack or basket peddlers: peddlers selling and delivering only from packs or baskets or similar containers.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to engage in the business of peddler of any merchandise, article or thing without having first obtained a license therefor.
The annual fee for a license shall include the solicitor's license fee of $20 and $35 for each vehicle. If no vehicle is used, the fee shall be $20 per employee in addition to the solicitor's license fee.
There shall be no peddling on Sundays.
